4 月 4 日下午 1 点，我在纽约公园大道 400 号的 Pret a Manger 购买了切达奶酪和番茄三明治，然后在等公共汽车时不久就吃了。那天晚上大约从晚上 8 点开始，我变得恶心，在接下来的 6-7 个小时内呕吐了三遍，盗汗，感到发烧，并出现腹泻发作。第二天早上（4 月 5 日）我仍然因头痛和腹泻而发烧。症状在接下来的 24 小时内缓慢缓解。
