L'hépatite A est une infection du foie causée par le virus de l'hépatite A (HAV). Les infections au HAV sont souvent asymptomatiques, mais lorsque des symptômes apparaissent, les personnes infectées peuvent avoir l'impression d'avoir contracté la grippe. L'ictère est le symptôme le plus courant associé à l'infection par le HAV.
