#luckycharms #diarrhea #GeneralMills #FDAHELP I ate General Mills King-Size Lucky Charms cereal bar and had stomach pains an hour after lasting all night. I've been in the bathroom with diarrhea 5x before noon. I'm hydrated and in good health. This always happened with the regular cereal... I just missed it and hoped the bars wouldn't make me sick. I was wrong. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Stomach Pain
5yo Kiddo had a small bowl at grandmas house. Had had no other questionable food prior prior to having a bowl. Within 20min kiddo began projectile vomiting and can't keep anything down for last 6 hours. Immediately ejected all signs of cereal, and continuing to vomit bile... as an accute response. Kiddo has had NO other prior food poisoning and was her first time vomiting all together. | Symptoms: Vomiting, Bile

I ate Lucky Charms and the pain is horrible. Diarrheas are unbearable. This is serious for your health. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Headache, Stomach Pain, Body Ache, Chest Pain
I’m on a STRICT diet due to my gluten, dairy and egg intolerances among a plethora of other allergies. The ONLY thing I’ve changed, in months, was adding in ‘Honey Nut Cheerios’ as a snack. The next day I suddenly got nauseous, chills, stomach aches, and rectal... pain then diarrhea. I kept eating the Cheerios to make sure it wasn’t something else. By day 4 I had to stop. Once I’ve stopped my stomach and bowel movements are slowly going back to normal. General Mills claims it’s gluten free… but there is no “certified gluten free” certification logo on the box. So I don’t know how accurate that labeling really is. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Chills, Stomach Pain

Boyfriend bought a box of Lucky Charms for my daughter, because of the sugar I was limiting her to just a little bit and using the marshmallows has potty training rewards. After giving her a cup sized portion at a meal she started having diarrhea within 24... hours. Before the diarrhea started she was not eating much and could tell something was wrong. Shes 3. Since stopping the cereal she has gone back to normal.

Me and my friend (both having had the truffle pasta) at this location super ill afterwards.
My friend was vomiting from 5am with a delicate stomach and still feels like she's spinning on a fairground wheel that won't stop.
And my stomach felt very unsettled when I... reached home and I felt incredibly nauseated and feverish.
Another of our friends had the truffle pasta but she didn't eat the shavings and was too full to finish the dish, she reported feeling fine. I also left a few pieces of truffle but my friend who was the illest ate it all.

We are frequent shoppers of this place and have noticed flagrant potential health problems for many years.
1. Fish odors constantly wreak from the seafood department. We go to other Whole Foods as well as many other establishments that offer seafood products and in no other place... do we experience an odor of this sort. The odor is constant no matter when you shop.
2. We noticed a sewer-like smell near the coffee bar. There appears to be an exposed drain. Drain pipes from two sinks appear to be open-ended and feed a grate which I would think goes to a sewer drain. See the photos below. (One photo zooms in on the drain setup; the second (which is a bit blurry) backs off and shows the two sinks that feed the pipes.
3. There is a similar sewer-like smell by the left side of the meet department with a similar setup as in item 2 and an exposed drain.
I would suggest that the Monmouth County health commission perform an inspection of the Middletown Whole Foods.
Public health authorities are investigating an increase of cases of a potentially-deadly bacteria Verotoxigenic E. coli (VTEC) in the midwest region. More than 20 VTEC cases were notified in the region between July 31st-August 27th, including several hospitalizations according to Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) provisional data....
According to the news, multidisciplinary public health teams have managed and investigated outbreaks and cases in households and in rural settings, particularly on or near farms, and sites with access to a private well supply, and sources of infection are under investigation.
The VTEC strain produces a powerful toxin that can cause severe illness, particularly in children under five and the elderly. The infection can be passed from person to person, through consuming contaminated food or water or contact with infected animals or contamination in the environment. In addition to causing severe stomach pains and diarrhea, VTEC can cause a serious condition known as Haemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS), which results in the breakdown of red blood cells and kidney failure. A small number of HUS cases have been confirmed.

When I picked up my groceries the outdoor freezer unit must have been down because there was a chain link fence blocking the normal pick up location. My groceries were outside in totes. I had worked 72 hours in seven days the day I picked up groceries... and I was very tired. I just went straight home and put all the groceries in my fridge. The milk was warm, and the pizzas were not cold. But I didn’t think too much about it I just put the food away. I did not eat any of the shell fish thank goodness. The crab legs had leaked through the brown butcher paper. I ate one and half pizzas over a weeks time and I drank about 30% of the milk. I am and did have all the symptoms of food poisoning. I am hydrating and I saw my physician last Thursday. My symptoms have subsided other than headaches. I am doing better but I lost my new job because I was sick. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
