in a specialist cleaning agency to deep clean the pub and it is expected to reopen on February 15.
No confirmation has been made yet on the number of people who are or have been affected by the suspected norovirus outbreak. However, JD Wetherspoon has released a statement confirming “some customers and staff” have reported feeling unwell.
The Foot of the Walk pub is just one of many pubs and restaurants in the JD Wetherspoon chain. The pub chain is known for its large selection of food and drinks, and is a popular destination for patrons.
Norovirus is very contagious and is easily transmitted from person to person most through the oral/fecal route. Considering that hand sanitizer does NOT work against this virus, it is important to wash your hands with soap frequently. Use bleach to clean and disinfect surfaces. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
