instore ready made chicken The deli assistant had just removed the crumbed chicken wings from the deep fryer when I ordered some. On the way home I bit into a piece to find it was COMPLETELY raw. I immediately returned to the store and explained everything to them in the presence of the manager. They took the chicken and I received a refund. I then telephonically contacted customer care and reported it. Someone called me later and said that he was investigated. The incident happened at about 1h30pm on Thursday. At 2pm today, Saturday 15 Feb 2020, I was overwhelmed with nausea and severe vertigo. I was unable to walk without swooning (still the case) and I experienced confusion, disorientation, couldn't lift my head and couldn't maintain my balance. Medical assistance was sought and called to attend to me. My blood pressure had dropped and I was told that I have food poisoning. I am unable to move at this point without losing my balance & I was told to take an antibiotic to kill the bacteria. I now have diarreah and vomiting. It took 24hrs to manifest. Almost to the hour. What recourse do I have with this location?
