So I have a problem. I am very particular when I eat. Like I find something I really like to eat and suddenly that’s all I crave and I will literally only eat that. Well I recently got that craving for Lucky Charms cereal. Like I literally... See More eat it 3-4 times a day. I know it sounds crazy but when I think about eating something else nothing sounds good. Well as I’ve been on my “Lucky Charms Obsession” (that’s what my sister calls it@ I have noticed that I am having significant abdominal pain, gas, and diarrhea. When I pass gas it smells very foul but almost has a Lucky Charms smell to it. When I have diarrhea it literally is GREEN and it smells foul but also semi-sweet. It smells like Lucky Charms. I’ve had 4 different people tell me that. I also can’t seem to hold it. Like when I eat Lucky Charms and my stomach starts cramping, making weird noises, and getting gassy I have to go to the bathroom immediately. I don’t know what’s going on with Lucky Charms but I can 100% say it is the Lucky Charms causing this because I literally don’t eat any else. Well now I’m fixing to have to because this hurts so much and is so uncomfortable. I just want to know what is going on because I haven’t seen or heard of a recall and I know several people have reported this. I figured since General Mills has done anything about it or even acknowledged there could be a problem with it to the public that I might as well go ahead and tell my story too. Unless you're just eating dry cereal I think you might be leaving out an important detail in your post. I used to get the same symptoms every time I used good ol' cows milk. I switched to almond milk and it's been all good ever since. Also I love them marshmallows too but in large enough quantities the dyes in them will make stuff green at the end of the rainbow.

I ate dry cereal and had the same problem. 1 bowl and not even 30 min later intense cramps and nausea. Something is wrong with this cereal, no one should be getting sick immediately following eating something.

Within a few minutes of eating I had terrible gas and painful cramps. About 30 minutes later I rushed to the bathroom with a terrible bout of nausea and diarrhea. I have a very high metabolism and digest all food rapidly. Still cramping and nauseous.

Glenn Wayne Bakery of Bohemia, NY recalled Chocolate Iced Donuts, Boston Cream Donuts, Brownies and Walnut Brownies out of an abundance of caution because of a potential foreign material hazard in its icing which can cause serious injury if swallowed. These products were distributed to New York... See More State’s Westchester, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau, Suffolk, Dutchess and Rockland counties in retail stores. All products were pulled from shelves immediately upon notice. There have been no reported injuries to date.
The recalled products are Chocolate Iced Donuts, Boston Cream Donuts, Brownies and Walnut Brownies. Donuts were packed into paper-lined trays for self-service; donuts were made on 12/15/22, and no lot information is available on trays once placed on display. Brownies came in a 3.5-ounce, clear plastic package marked with a best by date of 12/18/22 on the bottom.
The recall was the result of a consumer complaint of glass in the donut icing, which was later proved to be unfounded (i.e., confirmed to be sucrose) by a food forensics laboratory. The company has ceased using the icing and as a result of the food forensics laboratory’s investigation, considers the matter an isolated and closed incident.
If you have the recalled products in your home, please do not eat them, throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.

The CDC is investigating a Norovirus Outbreak linked to the P&O Cruises Arcadia from December 29, 2022 to January 3, 2023. 84 passengers have reported being ill during the voyage out of a total of 1,986 (4.23%) passengers onboard. of the 818 crew members, 10 have reported... See More being ill during the voyage, that is 1.22% of all crew. The predominant symptoms are vomiting and diarrhea.
The Arcadia current location is at the North West Atlantic Ocean en route to the Port of Freeport in the Bahamas.
The gastrointestinal illness cases reported are totals for the entire voyage and do not represent the number of active (symptomatic) gastrointestinal cases at any given port of call or at disembarkation.
In response to the outbreak, P&O Cruises and the crew aboard the ship reported the following actions:
- Increased cleaning and disinfection procedures according to the ship’s outbreak prevention and response plan
- Collected stool specimens from passenger and/or crew gastrointestinal illness cases
- Notified embarking guests of the situation onboard and encouraged illness reporting and good hand hygiene.
VSP monitored the situation and the ship’s outbreak response and sanitation procedures.
Norovirus is very contagious and is easily transmitted from person to person most through the oral/fecal route. Considering that hand sanitizer does NOT work against this virus, it is important to wash your hands with soap frequently. Use bleach to clean and disinfect surfaces.

my food poisoning happened AT TACO CASA Gas Station restaurant, (gas LOL) on the twenty third I think, and I ended up having to go to my family's doctor, like a clinic, and get put on at least three prescriptions of meds, one of which was a high electrolyte drink, to help with the dehydration, from basically vomiting through that night, of the twenty third, hardly Any sleep and/or rest for a few nights, including THAT ONE FOR SURE!!!
