the Wayne County Health Department and local officials, the school made the difficult decision to close until February 14th.
The cause of the outbreak is still under investigation, but the school has instructed parents to keep their children home if they display any symptoms, and to inform the school if they have been in contact with anyone who is experiencing them.
Norovirus is very contagious and is easily transmitted from person to person most through the oral/fecal route. Considering that hand sanitizer does NOT work against this virus, it is important to wash your hands with soap frequently. Use bleach to clean and disinfect surfaces. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
