The most common fish food poisonings are scombroid and ciguatera. Scombroid is caused by improperly handling of fish producing histamine-releasing bacteria. Symptoms can occur as quickly as 15 mins. We had dinner at the above restaurant on Jan 26 around 6:30pm.
We had the set menu(fish/potato, beef stew, apple sauce) and escargot and roasted chicken and baked apple with vanilla ice cream. My wife who had the escargot and chicken felt unwell around an hour after... the meal and ended up vomiting around 2am with a low grade fever. We are both fully vaccinated against COVID with 4 Pfizer vaccines each.

Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) announced the recall of Shepherd’s pie prepared and sold by Première Moisson bakery located at 860 avenue du Mont-Royal Est, in Montreal due to the possible presence of Salmonella. There have been no reports of associated illness.
The recalled product... is Shepherd’s pie( Pâté chinois), 300g, sold from January 11 to January 16, 2023 inclusive, and only at this establishment. The product was packaged in a black plastic tray with a clear plastic lid. The product was sold refrigerated, at the serving counter, with or without a label.
If you have the recalled product in your home, please do not eat it, throw it away.

On January 10 I went & ordered three bowls from here. Within hours of having our food, my daughter and I experienced, severe abdominal pain, cramps and major diarrhea. Fillet of fish, I bought the this around 10pm and the sand which looked an tasted old.
