Ontario, Canada

The CFIA announced the recall of certain broccoli seeds by Junction Microfarm (dba Junction Microgreens) due to possible Salmonella contamination. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the product.

The recalled product is:
- Broccoli seeds sold by Junction Microgreens, approximately 12 g, sold from June 1, 2021 to August 31, 2021 at The Junction Farmers Market, Toronto, Ontario

This product has been sold in Ontario.

If you have the recalled product in your home, please do not eat it, throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.

In case you are experiencing Salmonella symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance.
