“The FSA announced the recall of Bridge Bakery Carrot, Lemon, and Triple Chocolate Cakes by Seery’s Heatherfield Ltd because the products may contain small pieces of metal. These cakes have only been sold in Lidl stores in Northern Ireland.
FSA advises consumers not to eat the recalled product. In... stead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Recall details: Country Fresh is extending their v... oluntary recall issued on October 2, 2020 to include various containers of “Freshness Guaranteed “cut and/or sliced apples, grapes, mangos, pineapples and cantaloupe distributed by Walmart. The recall is a precautionary measure due to a possible health risk from Listeria monocytogenes detected on equipment used in an area near where these products are packed. FDA discovered these findings during a recent inspection.
Listeria monocytogenes is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
The recall affects product codes of various fresh fruit items shipped directly to Walmart retail distribution centers and sent to select stores located in AR, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MO, OK, and TX. The products were packaged in various size clam shell containers (see photos). The “best if used by” dates are between October 3, 2020 and October 11, 2020 and the products are listed in the link below.
Also, this recall affects product codes of watermelon items shipped directly to RaceTrac’s retail distribution centers stores in select stores located in Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Texas. The product was packaged in a variety of clam shell containers (see photos). The best-if-used by dates of October 2, 3, and 4, 2020, and the SKUs are as follows:

Country Fresh has not received any reports of illnesses to date. Walmart retail stores are removing the recalled product from store shelves and inventories immediately. Customers who have any recalled product on the list should not consume it and discard it immediately.

“A week ago on October 17th, 2020, I got take out there. I got an order of their Roast Pork, an order of their BBQ Pork & Soya Chicken over rice, and their Fried Rice Noodles with Beef. Immediately after eating their Roast Pork I need the washroom. For a week now I’ve had diarrhea. No vomiting but al... most felt like it as I experienced very little nausea.
