We were on vacation at Normandy farms and went to here for lunch. My mother-in-law and I ordered chicken gnocchi soup salad and bread sticks. The top of the salad looked ok so we didn't realize the old mushy salad underneath until after we had eaten it.The... See More salad looked okay on top but underneath, was wilted, brown and mushy. Similarly the breadsticks on top were warm but underneath they were hard. The soup had no chicken was thin and luke warm. he waitress said they may have run out of the ingredients. They brought out another bowl that was overfilled with gnocchi. I wondered where they got all the ingredients the second time. My mother in-law wasn't starving and decided not to eat. I was so hungry I ate a little bit of soup and a bread stick but nothing tasted right. The manager came and after we had to prove the food was old he took our food off the bill. About an hour later I was having stomach cramps on and off. This went on for hours. They became progressively worse to the point where I couldn't do anything the rest of the day. The nausea started and the cramping was getting much worse. Around 9pm I started to sweat all over soaking through my clothes and I couldn't stop shaking. The stomach cramping was so bad we decided I should go to the hospital thinking it might be an appendicitis. It was midnight. I've never been doubled over in pain like this before. I could hardly walk. Before we could get to the car, I projectile vomited over and over. I was so weak and shaking so hard I couldn't even stand up. After vomiting I realized I had severe food poisoning. My son has autism and he was so frightened crying and begging me not to leave! I would have left hours earlier but he was hysterical. This was the most frightening experience in my entire life. Instead of me it could have been an elderly person or someone immunocompromised that became this violently ill, they could've died.. The food was so terrible this restaurant has no business serving anything to the public. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps, Shaking, Sweating, Weakness See Less
