for a full day. 8 hours after symptom onset PO challenge was tolerated and I continued home care including fluids and pepto bismol. The dish I believe caused the problem was the Ahi Poke Taco appetizer that I consumed as my entree. The avocado seemed a little wilted, which isn’t horribly abnormal, and it didn’t taste or smell off. It might have been slightly out of temperature when I received my plate. the different food and water we were drinking but now I’m almost positive I can trace it back to here. Once we got back my husband spent a week not eating much and having lower energy, and shortly after he recovered I spent about a week and a half with similar symptoms. I’ve had constant GI issues since the trip and finally have gone in to see a specialist that has determined I have post infectious IBS. The only other thing we had that day was Shake Shack, but that was much earlier and no symptoms afterwards. My husband and I both had salads at here and we all had pizookies- probably what caused it. Regardless we won’t be going back. It’s too bad because the service was stellar and it’s a great place for families.
