in the hospital due to severe dehydration and test came back positive for salmonella. Public health department called me to investigate and my bacteria levels were very high and I was very ill.
This was all I ate that day... never again.

at that location. I have the receipts to verify the meal and time. At approximately 11:45pm - 12:00am I became very ill and started vomiting. This continued up to 11:30am when I was taken to the emergency room at Ajax Pickering Hospital by my spouse and my Mother. I remained at the hospital from approximately 12pm - 7pm. I was assessed, completed bloodwork and was treated by intravenous fluids for dehydration and anti-nausea medication. The treating physician advised that I had food poisoning. I was also provided with a prescription to manage any recurring nausea. My daughter contacted the restaurant on September 2, 2019 and was advised that the General Manager would contact me. I did not receive a call and I called the restaurant myself on September 3, 2019 and I spoke with him, who was also our server on September 1, 2019. He advised me that I would have to provide a sample of the food for it to be tested to verify that I had food poisoning. He said that other people ate the salad and didn't get sick. I advised that we had a late dinner and I did not eat anything else that night. I told him that this should be a concern for other patrons. He did not appear to be very concerned. At my request he provided me with the name and contact email for the General Manager and the contact number for their Head Office, stated that he has given me all the information that he can provide. I did advise him that I intended to escalate the matter. I did not feel Brandon Bruno was very empathic to my situation or illness which was directly related to the meal I ate at their restaurant.
