Wasn’t sure. Lucky charms is her brand of cereal. Had eaten before bed and woke up at 5am very very sick My special needs daughter is 21. Besides surgeries she NEVER gets sick. Not even when my other children got the flu. She ate lucky charms before … See More
bed. She was fine and went to sleep as usual. At 5 am the next morning she was crying had a headache and had diarrhea with a big accident. I took her to the bathroom and put her in the bathtub. I literally could not get her out of the bath because the diarrhea was explosive and wouldn’t stop. I gave her anti diarrhea medicine but it continued for 3 days with accident after accident. Laundry is non stop and I am still behind. She also cries with severe stomach pains and very bad headaches. She has been sleeping a lot, usually after an accident and is exhausted from the pain. Did not eat anything for 2 days and soup the third. Still having accidents. Finally seemed to be getting better. I also ate lucky charms cereal and quickly had stomach cramps and diarrhea. Embarrassingly enough I also had an accident initially because it hit so fast.  .Both of us got better and started eating again. Now as of 2 days ago Allie is sick again. Accidents stomach cramps and a terribly irritated bottom. She is either in bed or the bathtub. And yes she ate a half of a bowl of cereal Lucky Charms. She is miserable. I’m exhausted. And by the way my daughter is one of the toughest people I know. She’s been through a lot and for her to even complain isn’t normal and to cry is rare.  So it is very painful. It happened on April 1-3 and again on 4-8 to present. 2nd time my special needs adult daughter has gotten sick. Uncontrollable diarrhea, cramps and headache  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Other, Cramps, Headache, Stomach Pain

Apple Market, South Elm Street, Oologah, OK, USA

I was shopping at my local grocery store, and stopped at the meat section. Almost every single package of chicken was full to bursting of red liquid. I picked up a package that did not appear to have anything in it and it dripped juices all over … See More
my hands. I was just trying to determine the sodium content, so I had to flip the package over because I couldn't find the information on the top. All of the chicken was poorly wrapped. When I confronted the manager on duty, he said the chicken was packaged elsewhere and was not their responsibility. I believe it is their responsibility because they stocked their shelves looking like that and saw no issue, and did not double-wrap the packages with additional cellophane. Unfortunately, after chicken juice spilled on me, I didn't think to take a picture (and my hands were potentially covered in something that can cause a disease at that point). I tried to find a sanitation station and all I could find was a pump for hand sanitizer that just ended up spreading the chicken juice and making my hands feel even worse. I walked back to the front of the store, searching for a sanitizing cloth and found an almost-empty station at the entrance to the store. Suffice it to say, by that point, I felt I had already contaminated my things and still felt unclean. I believe the employees of this store, including those in the meat department, have not received proper food handling certification. I believe they are - willfully or not - creating hazardous conditions ripe for disease. I think the health department needs to look into this. There is no reason why employees who handle raw meat should not be certified to know the dangers of raw meat. I had a food handler's certification and I know that what I saw was not okay by any means.

I get Snyder's pretzels all the time, but this time I got them something has got to be off. After eating them I got severe oral allergy syndrome from it. I've never had that happen before with these. I had swelling in my mouth and throat and … See More
I was close to going to the hospital or using an epi pen. It took almost three days to go down. I wasn't sure it was the pretzels at first. But a few days after I was doing better I had more pretzels and it happened again after I started eating them. I stopped again. I tried another brand and had no problems at all from the other brand.

There has to be too much of some ingredients in these or something that shouldn't be in them that has made its way in the product.

One thing I'd suggest the manufacturer and FDA/Regulators double check is the possible amount of cellulose containing ingredients if there is improperly processed cellulose or if it is being sourced from high risk for allergy wood and other sources. Perhaps also a pesticide issue with the wheat or other items used or improper cleaning of certain grains, etc. Possible mold contaminants may be present as well which are some of the worst allergies I suffer from. Based on my own personal allergies, there are a few possible culprits where things could have gone wrong and caused contamination at some point of the supply chain. I'm happy to help narrow it down and provide whatever I can to assist.
