Food poisoning from seafood is usually caused by toxins. Shellfish paralytic food poisoning is very common. The Symptoms can begin half an hour after eating and include tingling, numbness, and temporary paralysis. Neurotoxin poisoning can lead to slurred speech, diarrhea, and vomiting.

I ordered the Louisiana pasta. My food had to get sent back because they added shrimp and I have a seafood allergy. Shortly after eating the food I had a fainting spell. My husband and I ate at the restaurant and within 6 hours we both had upset stomach’s and then another 6-8 hours later my husband was throwing up and had diarrhea.
