I received a box from HungryRoot today. I refrigerated everything within 20 minutes of delivery. Tonight I cooked the Southwestern Chicken + Black Bean bowl. Within 30 minutes I threw it all up and I feel awful. The dish consisted of Hungryroot avocado crema, seasoned grilled chicken... breast, cucumber corn black bean salad, and organic seasoned jasmine rice. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting

I ate Superblend Salad with Corn and Black Bean Salad and Avocado Crema. That night I began feeling ill and the next morning I had nausea and vomited.
Feeling unsure if it was Hungryroot that made me sick, I tried again—this time with a COOKED Superblend Salad... mixed Cashew Cheddar and topped with Cuban Black Beans. I had gas pains, abdominal cramping, and diarrhea all morning after eating this. My appetite is still nonexistent for the most part. I also missed a day of work. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Gas, Cramps

It was extremely serious, 3 days of dehydration, vomiting, diarrhea. Lost 15 pounds in less than a week (and I am not a big person to begin with). All food was prepared/washed and not left out upon delivery. Specifically their beets was what made me sick. Unfortunately... it was thrown out before it could be tested, but the hospital wanted me to report it anywhere possible immediately so others dont get sick.I went to ER, just food poisoning, they could not figure out what bacteria because I came in towards the end and my stomach cramping was so immense they needed to immediately give painkillers and IV for hydration | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Dehydration, Cramps

I've been using the HungryRoot service for a few weeks, a few days ago my roommate and I had the cauliflower pad thai for dinner - all ingredients were within the expiration date and stored/refrigerated properly. A few hours after eating we both had stomach pain and... cramping that turned into severe nausea. I ended up getting sick, my roommate didn't throw up but also felt very sick. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps, Stomach Pain

I ate products that arrived to me from the food subscription service Hungry Root, through www.HungryRoot.com. 2 hours after consuming the almond date cacao milk drink, I threw it back up. For 12 hours my tummy was upset and I was incredibly uncomfortable. Still feeling a bit... sick and it's the next day. I've reported this to the company and while they sent me a refund, they also encouraged me to try them again. Hell no. Gave the store credit they sent me to a friend. Food quality for the company seems to be inconsistent according to the reviews on their Facebook page. DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM HUNGRY ROOT. | Symptoms: Vomiting

NeoKare Nutrition Limited is recalling its human breast milk products because they contain elevated levels of lead. The company sold a small number of human breast milk products to people online. 30 hospitals were also supplied by the company. Of those supplied, 7 hospitals used the product... – 6 in England and 1 in Wales. One of the products was given by some hospitals to a small number of premature babies as part of a clinical trial or as an alternative source of nutrition.
The recalled products are:
• MOTHER’S MILK FORTIFIER (MMF) POWDER 10 x 1g, food for special medical purpose, supplied to NHS Hospitals only for use predominantly in clinical trials involving preterm babies, not available for retail sale
• PASTEURISED HUMAN BREAST MILK (PHBM) POWDER 6g (supplied direct to customers online)
• 70CAL LIQUID FROZEN 15ml and 50ml, (supplied to the NHS Hospitals and supplied direct to customers online)
• PASTEURISED HUMAN BREAST MILK (PHBM) LIQUID FROZEN 50ml (supplied direct to customers online)
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is working with Trading Standards to investigate how human breast milk products made by NeoKare Nutrition Limited contained elevated levels of lead. The risk to the health of those who have been given these products is likely to be low.
If you have any of the recalled products, do not feed them to your baby.
According to FSA, lead is a metal that occurs naturally in the environment. It is present at low levels in many foods as a result of it being in soil and water. Everyone has a background exposure to lead from dietary sources because lead is present in food. Investigations are ongoing to establish how the elevated levels of lead occurred.
There are no maximum levels for lead set in legislation for human breast milk. However, NeoKare Nutrition Limited’s Mother’s Milk Fortifier product is also classed as ‘food for special medical purposes’, which has to be given under medical supervision, and this product does have a maximum legal limit for lead.
If your baby is experiencing symptoms after consuming this product it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist seek medical attention.
My boyfriend and I are on a road trip and ate here for dinner after. It eating lunch and after we both got very sick with vomitting and diarrhea. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea
I ordered a bowl with half chow neon and half fried rice with honey walnut shrimp. I wanted brown rice but they didn’t have it so I just ordered the half chow mein and half fries rice. The food tasted horrible. The fried rice was somewhat hard... and the honey walnut shrimp breading was falling apart. It tasted horrible but I was still able to eat half of the bowl because I was so hungry from being at the job site all day and then having to fly back home. That night I had a very bad stomach ache. When I got up early in the morning for work I had to run to the restroom to go and I had really bad diarrhea. It was so runny and stinging when it came out and the entire day, every hour, I had to go to the restroom. And until today I have bad diarrhea . | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Stomach Pain

I bought a bag of carrots from this branch. While peeling, I noticed the carrots were just disintegrating but I figured I was just unlucky in the bag I picked. I normally snack on these and eat them raw. Today, I had some around 10am and by... 2,3pm, the stomach ache had started. The discomfort was intense. By 6pm I had started projectile vomitting through the mouth and nose and carrots was all that came out. I had not eaten anything else all day. The pain only subsided after vommiting and using the loo about 3 times. The carrot was definitely dodgy as I could not even bring myself to each the whole of the 4 sticks I took. It tasted awful. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
