Thai stir-fry, Chilli Jam Concord, Majors Bay Road, Concord NSW, Australia

104 Majors Bay Road, Concord, 2137 New South Wales, Australia

I went there and ordered the chicken stir-fry with a orange juice on the 6th of December, 2020 on a Sunday night. I started eating at 8:45pm. I finished the dish and I was feeling fine all night, I even had a good sleep as I didn’t get sick after eating it. The food was delicious. The next morning I woke up at 10am because I was getting really bad stomach pains. From 10am till 5pm I was getting extremely bad pains and I had watery diarrhea 12 times all total in one day. It was of a light orange color. No hard stool at all. It was so bad that I was sweating really bad and the stomach pains went on all day. The watery diarrheal went on for 20 seconds each time I had to go to the toilet followed by stomach rumbles each time I went. It was like a tap opened on blast. I felt nauseous during the day like I had trouble standing up as I started to feel dizzy and sweaty. During the day I had tightness in my chest and an urge to vomit but I could feel it was stuck for three hours and the vomit just wouldn’t come out. I ended up vomiting 4 times in the afternoon and the stir-fry that I had at this particular restaurant all came out when I vomited, every single thing that was on my plate. It’s not normal to vomit four times in a row. I told the waitress to put light chilli just mild not strong chilli and she said the chef can’t do that as the chilli comes marinated with the meat already and they can’t take it off. But then she said that they can change it to mild chilli after pleading with her several times. I don’t know what they did to that dish or if something wasn’t fresh or there was cross-contamination but something went wrong in that kitchen when that dish was prepared and cooked. I’m not allergic to any types of foods, and I’ve been to many restaurants from different cultures and everything was fine, I didn’t get any cramps or pains after eating their food and I’ve never felt ill from ordering from any restaurant. I felt like I could not stand up all day and felt extremely weak. While vomiting four times both my arms went numb. Thai was the only food I had that night and the following morning I didn’t even have breakfast. I drank water all day and I had no appetite for food, till around 6pm I had my first meal. That’s how bad it was that I couldn’t even eat during the day because every half an hour I was rushing to the bathroom. My whole face went so pale, eye bags were a light green, my lips went blue and the sweat on my face would not spot even though I kept splashing my face with water. I felt like I was losing consciousness and as I was at work I felt I could not walk or sit at all as that vomit feeling was stuck in my throat. A colleague asked me if I’m feeling okay as she noticed my face completely changed and other work mates were looking at me in a way that something isn’t right. The food poisoning was so bad that I wanted to check myself into hospital. It was such a relief after being able to vomit after hours of pain and cramps continuous bathroom visits that I felt so much better when everything was out of my system. I could not function during the day without wanting to cry from the pain. I’ve never experienced such traumatic physical pain in my life before. So I went on the 06/12/20 and the pains started on 07/12/20. I was also excited to try the food at that restaurant as it has good reviews but now I don’t think I’ll want to go back. It’s not like the pain stopped and came back, the pain was like torture that went on for 8 hours straight. Maybe the meat was off and wasn’t cooked well or the oils were off, I’m not sure as I did enjoy my meal on the night. What I endured the next day I’ll never forget. I’m not the type of person who wants to ruin someone’s business but it’s also unfair for customers to catch a sickness just because something isn’t fresh or not cooked well or the chef didn’t wash his/her hand. Seriously this is people’s health and life in your hands! That’s the first time I go there and it’ll be the last time for sure! 😡🤢🤮😩  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Other, Cramps, Weakness, Dizziness, Sweating, Stomach Pain, Loss of Appetite
