7/15/2019 @ 17:05 - The Tomato Basil Pasta was not tasting right. As we left the establishment to go to the car, my girlfriend's daughter who ordered the pasta was not feeling good. She stated she felt "nauseous". As we were driving, she felt like she was going to throw up. Her throat felt like she was going to gag. As we drove further (getting closer to home), she started to get an intense headache. The leftovers, that I had requested to take along, not at the request of my daughter's friend who was being polite to just politely dismiss the food and not making the request to take it, had created such a stench in my car and our kitchen smelt horrendously upon bringing the leftovers into the house. My husband asked me, "what is that smell"?! Upon calling the restaurant, a manager asked if he could place me on hold (C. R.) the minute I stated "we were just there within the hour and my daughter's friend is sick from her meal"...the minute I said that, he screams "oh know, let me put you on hold" -- without hearing the concern or asking any further questions. I said, "what?! You're placing me on hold? Someone is sick from your restaurant? We have a serious concern here!" He said, "yes, I need to get a form for a report." My cell phone records, 8 minutes later, a different person came on the phone and claimed to the be the same person (different voice claiming the same first name) and said he doesn't know anything about my call and that he didn't put me on hold. Yes, I swore, saying "I can't f'in believe the shenanigans with someone terribly sick from your establishment with food that smells sickly and sour and who is in my care only to be placed on hold and no one knowing about the call!" He hung up the phone. My husband called back only to have sat on hold for over 10 minutes by having used my cell phone. Interestingly, he continued to hold on my cell phone on one ear...called the restaurant from his cell phone on the other ear and was able to get a manager! Upon explaining the circumstances, and asking for corporate's phone number, they ultimately wanted to send a gift card...THAT WAS NOT THE POINT OF THE CALL! Someone has food poisoning from your establishment! What is the solution?! How is this going to be handled and what are next steps for the injured party? My husband had to ask 3 times for the corporate phone number to have be provided. The "manager" pressed for the name of the minor child; to which, my husband stated he was only comfortable providing her first name given she is under 18. He provided her mother's name and cell phone. The "manager" insisted on OUR home address and names to be provided as well as our check number, items on the check, time stamp of the check receipt -- the call concluded. We are never eating there again -- we reiterated several times not to send the gratuitous gift card! We have someone in our care, who had flown in from out of state, and the solutions were: 1) putting us on hold, 2) have us call back, 3) have us call back yet again, 4) us forcing the symptoms to be heard that the injured party was experiencing and 5) company wanting our address to send a gift card?! NEVER will we back...flies flying all over the place, to include numerous fruit flies -- my girlfriend's daughter continuously was shoeing them away throughout our meal! So concerning on so many levels and just flat out disgusting! Feel terrible this is where I took my girlfriend's daughter for dinner on our way home from having picked her up from the airport -- should have been a lovely time/experience! This is just plain awful -- awful with accentuated expletives! Shame on this restaurant.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Headache
