Wife got sick after 4 days at Secrets Royal Beach. Started with nausea. Then brutal vomiting. Fewer 39C
She felt that bad so we had to stop plane on way back and call emergency.

Spent a week there with no issues. Arrived back in the U.S. on Monday. Started severe cramping on Friday. Diarrhea started on Saturday and still going on (now Wednesday). Due to the delay in symptoms, I wondering if it isn’t parasitic in nature.

Picked up some sort of food or water borne illness. So far I’m suffering for a week
Cannot leave my house for extended periods.

Ate and drank whatever I wanted from Saturday to Tuesday night (went home Wednesday) which included breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, plenty of ice in rum and cokes, a hot dog from the barefoot grill, the duck from Bordeaux, seafood bisque, went to El Patio the first night.
Tuesday night had the Japanese steakhouse. Woke up Wednesday feeling fever, vomited with blood, sweat profusely, shaky, diarrhea, dizziness. Had to endure the trip back home going through all this bullsh!t. Haven’t vomited since that first one Wed morning but I’m eating light and drinking plenty of water now (Thursday) and still have diarrhea and still feel fuzzy headed. Pretty pissed off to be honest.

My husband had salmonella bacteremia in his blood after a week in Punta Cana. He was hospitalized and on an IV after his fever spiked to 103.5 and we couldn't control it. He was septic, sweating, shaking, lost 20 lbs...very sick.

I had bottled water and only ate at the resort all week - I became very sick on my last night there (Monday) and went to the hospital on Wednesday - last dinner I ate was at the Japanese steakhouse

I'm not sure what caused my illness. I fell ill on 6/18/21. We arrived on 6/16 and ar ate dinner at the steakhouse. We had dinner the next night at the Mexican restaurant. Breakfast and lunch were eaten at the buffet. I had diarrhea on and off

Resort was all inclusive so food was from the resort. Hard to know for sure as it could've been from food I ate on the way down, but seems odd. Secrets royal beach resort in February 2018. Had to be hospitalized while there on vacation. They gave
me antibiotics IV line with some other medicines., there were 6 of us on the trip - I was the only one who became ill

I ate at the breakfast buffet while on my 44th birthday trip to DR. About two hours after eating, my stomache cramped really bad. Started having diarreah. Thank God I had travel insurance, I contacted them. They sent a doctor and nurse. Concierge lady also came to
be the interpreter. I was given 3 pills. Didnt take them until my daughter back at home looked them up. I refused the injection. Had no clue what it was. I took 2 put of the 3 pills (I could have taken the antibiotic but didnt), next day I was better but not 100%. First and last time to the DR

Quaker Oats Instant Oatmeal Cinnamon & Spice Flavoring, I have eaten the Quaker Oats Instant Oatmeal Cinnamon & Spice Flavoring at two seperate times and experienced extremely bad diarrhea, nausea, dry heaving, stomach cramping, and bloating. It has made me severely sick at both instances weeks apart.
The illnesses would start a few hours after eating the item. We bought this costco variety box back in January.

Boucherie Les Saules inc., located at 2070 Boulevard Masson, Québec City, QC, Canada, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, has issued a recall for its Taouk brand vegetable and mushroom and sesame soups. The recall is due to improper storage methods that could
potentially lead to the growth of Clostridium botulinum bacteria. To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with these products.
The recalled products are
- Mushrooms & sesame (750 ml)
- Vegetables (750 ml)
The products were sold until April 23, 2024, and were packaged in glass jars with black metal lids. They were sold at room temperature at the establishment mentioned above. The products are not showing any signs of spoilage or suspicious odor.
If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased. Products could be contaminated with the bacteria Clostridium botulinum. Foods contaminated with the toxin of this bacterium when ingested can cause the following symptoms: facial paralysis, non-reactive or fixed pupils, difficulty swallowing, drooping eyelids, etc, impaired vision and speech. In severe cases, the disease can cause death.
In case you experienced Botulism symptoms, report it now. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.

Friday, April 12th, at around 10am I ordered a bacon egg and Gouda sandwich as well as a caramel ribbon drink. By around 3-4pm, I started feeling unwell. At 5 pm I vomited for the first time. Around every half hour after that I was vomiting still, until around 10am today, April 13th.
