On April 9th I ate thin crust pepperoni pizza and brownies from Pizza Hut late evening. The next morning I had a vicious onset of vomiting, diarrhea and nausea. It continued for several hours until I became dehydrated. Since I was home alone with my infant I was forced to go by ambulance to get care at the hospital. I felt as though I was going to pass out. Once at the hospital I did pass out before getting started on iv fluids. I was treated with 2 bottles of iv fluid, Imodium and nausea medication. Even after being discharged from the hospital the diarrhea continued for 12 hours. A friend took care of my infant since I was so weak when leaving hospital. The following day I slept for 20 hours. It caused me to miss work and feel very weak and exhausted. The doctor did an X-ray on my stomach and bloodwork. He determined it was due to something I ate and called it gastroenteritis. Pizza Hut was the only food I had eaten. I've eaten it regularly in recent past and it was fine but this particular time it was bad. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Gas, Dehydration, Weakness3 weeks ago •reported by user-hxwv9569
