Goodbye! and best wishes in your recovery

It is possible to get food poisoning from sushi. Salmonella, vibrio, listeria, and parasites are among the risks associated with eating raw fish and raw seafood. In December 2019 Fuji Food Products Inc. recalled ready to eat sushi, salads and spring rolls due to potential listeria contamination.

Great time to go vegan. The ocean will be depleted of sealife in 20 years at the current rate.

I went here on Wednesday February 15 to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Just her and I went. Our reservation was late (9pm). I ordered the Catch roll* along with a side for myself and everything else that I bought to treat my sister to. Since I was... See More driving, I ordered the non-alcoholic watermelon drink and had some water also. We’re from Ventura County, so we got home after midnight and I went straight to sleep. At 5am I woke up puking, and then again at 7am. I didn’t think too much of it at first, so I went to work at 8am, but puked again there at 9am. I ended up having to go home, where the puking continued and I had to use the bathroom frequently. By noon I started feeling very bloated, lethargic, having chills, abdominal pain, so I tried sleeping it off. Eventually I developed a fever and then later decided to go to the ER (especially since I have a kidney transplant and my doctors have always advised me to go if I ever develop a fever). When I got up, I felt excessively weak and needed assistance walking. I was at the hospital Thursday night, all day Friday, and was discharged until the afternoon on Saturday. The vorovirus was detected in my stool and I was given antibiotics through IV as well as fluids through the IV for hydration.

*note* I did NOT have anything to eat after the restaurant. I was unable to eat all day on Thursday. I was slowly able to start eating a little bit at the hospital on Friday and Saturday.
Also, my sister did not order sushi like I did. She only tried one roll of mine, while I ate all the rest. She did wake up on Thursday morning with bloatedness and abdominal pain.
Lastly, I do want to mention that the restaurant was lovely and the waiter was so kind, but ultimately, if I knew the food was contaminated here, I would have avoided it in general. Spent about $250 (just for my sister and I +valet parking included) only to have to be hospitalized. I have yet to also receive my hospital bill.
I genuinely hope that no one else has to experience this after coming here because it truly is a beautiful place where one expects a fine-dining experience. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Chills, Other, Weakness, Bloating, Stomach Pain

Purchased Spicy California Roll, 15pc, on Friday, Feb 10. It has a best used by date of Feb 11. A relative ate 6 pieces on the same day of purchase. Nobody else ate the sushi rolls and nobody else is ill, therefore it seems as though the sushi is the culprit. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting See Less

I experienced food poising a day after consuming a sushi platter that has sent to me via Uber Eats. One of the Tuna pieces was unusually slimy, and the symptoms including vomiting, stomach pain, nausea, and malaise came a day later.

Raw seafood for delivery is a choice I would think twice about in the future.

Sushi grade salmon and tuna, purchased on 12/28. I rinsed them and cut some off for dinner. Woke up in the middle of the night with horrible stomach cramps, had to rush to the bathroom to vomit. Didn’t eat anything else other than that fish. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps See Less
