Frozen pizza has been linked to E. coli and restaurant pizza contains high-risk ingredients that can cause food poisoning if mishandled. The main culprit is often raw eggs in undercooked dough, but toppings like meat and cheese can contain Listeria.

Have some idea what might be the true cause. Gluten-free pizza crust and bread type products almost always contain xanthan gum which causes some people severe stomach distress and diarrhea. Also some gluten-free stuff has inulin which is another ingredient that causes the same issue. It's possible the vegan cheese might use these ingredients too. Some people are sensitive to it. I had to give up all gluten-free products myself and go back to regular wheat.
