Recall notice

Ireland

The FSAI announced the recall of The Deli Meatster Snack Salamis by ALDI due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. These products were distributed in Ireland.

The recalled products are:
- Meatster Snack Salami Original, 125g, barcode: 4088600027975, Best before date: 02/12/2023
- Meatster Snack Salami Hot, 125 gr, barcode: 4088600027968, Best before date: 02/12/2023

Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated products. Retailers are requested to remove the affected products from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale.

In case you are experiencing Listeria monocytogenes symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
