E. coli Outbreak: Buffet Concerns - Dominican Republic,

6 years ago reported by user-qpqn6478

Dominican Republic

Dominican Republic

Not sure what made me sick. It started the night before I was leaving. Just extreme diarrhea till the next night. Was only able to drink water my entire flight. My husband was fine. I mostly eat the seafood and omelettes for breakfast. My baby didn’t get sick at all. She mostly eat pasta and pizza and French fries. Unfortunately we’ll never know what exactly got us sick. We went with 50 people and just about 1/2 of us left or came home sick. I case confirmed of E. coli. Good luck to all that are there or going. Sad because it’s a beautiful place. Mostly Buffet  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea
