Fried Rice Food Poisoning

After eating spoiled fried rice, you can experience "fried rice syndrome." Bacillus cereus is a toxin-producing bacteria that's a common cause of food poisoning. This can cause nausea and vomiting symptoms that might be experienced almost immediately after consumption. This usually lasts less than 12 hours for mild cases.

Felt unwell approx 2 hours from eating fried rice from here - initially nausea progressed to profuse watery and mucous diarrhea.
