A few hours after eating 2 handfuls, I woke after midnight with nausea, followed by diarrhea and then vomiting. More vomiting after drinking water. Sweating during and chills after. Finally slept around 2:30 am.. I got sick twice within two weeks, both times after eating Vickie’s jalapeño
potato chips. I’m positive it was the chips.

Quebec's Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), in collaboration with Fleur de sel, has issued a recall for various prepared meals due to undeclared allergens. The products may contain wheat, soy, nuts, and sulfites, posing a risk to consumers with allergies or celiac disease. The products
that are the subject of this warning were offered for sale only at Fleur de Sel located at 601 Rue Principale, Granby, QC, Canada. The issue was discovered during routine checks by the MAPAQ. As of now, no allergic reactions related to the consumption of these products have been reported.
The recalled products include "Filet de Sole Stuffed with Salmon and Shrimp", "Cod Loin Saffron and Chives", and "Basil and Tomato Chicken". These items were sold frozen and vacuum-sealed in clear plastic bags. On Friday, April 5 /24, my husband brought home a roasted rotisserie chicken from Canadian Super Store on Queensway in Simcoe Ontario. We ate it that day, and I became horribly ill within 2 hours. My husband became sick, as well, but luckily he didn’t get as
sick as I did. The chicken seemed to taste a bit different than usual, but not bad. It was obvious that I had food poisoning, as I had all of the disturbing symptoms. As I type this day (on Sunday April 7, 2024), I’m just beginning to feel better, but my muscles & joints are still weak and extremely painful. I’ve never been so ill in my entire life. We kept the receipt and the cardboard carrier with information regarding time, date , etc, and we stored a piece of the chicken in a labelled baggie in the freezer.
