Blue Cheese Food Poisoning

Blue cheese, like other soft cheeses, can be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus aureus, causing food poisoning. Symptoms of food poisoning generally appear within 6 hours of consuming infected blue cheese. They may include nausea, vomiting, cramps, and diarrhea.

Bought some blue cheese to have on crackers. It had a bit of a funky taste - a bit metallic. Threw it out but had about 1/3 of it.

anything else for the last 10-12 hours. Ate the sandwich with mustard and Mayo, and about 3/4 of the salad. Within 3 hours, I experienced chills, but I checked my temperature and didn’t have a fever so I went to bed. 6 hours later, I woke with severe heartburn and cramping, followed by an hour and a half of watery diarrhea, nausea, and then vomiting.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Chills, Heartburn
