我有一个土耳其/瑞士三明治，里面有生菜、番茄、墨西哥胡椒和芥末酱。这是星期六晚上。第二天周日下午 5 点左右，我开始感到非常恶心。我的男朋友开了两个半小时回家，我在回家的路上都在呕吐。回家后有严重的呕吐和腹泻以及严重的胃痛，以至于我不得不去急诊室。我的白细胞计数很高，所以我的身体一直在抵抗感染。医生说要么是病毒，要么是食物中毒。我几乎无法走路，也很虚弱，呼吸困难。他们拍了 X 光片，但没有堵塞。我有两个装有 Benadryl 和液体的静脉输液袋，它们有所帮助，然后被释放回家。绝对是我经历过的最糟糕的经历之一。现在是星期一，我正在慢慢恢复。
