Nine hours later, my husband was nauseous, vomiting, diarrhea, chills, fever, abdominal pain, and extreme joint pain as well. I only have headaches, nausea, abdominal pain, and a sore throat. All of these symptoms are signs of salmonella poisoning. I do not want to have to leave a bad report. However, this is no joke. Thankfully we are young with good health so it should pass within the week. I do not believe that Zaxbys is following the rules and protocols to ensure the health of its customers. This meal is the only food we’ve eaten out of the ordinary, so I’m confident it’s the cause. I have to contact the local health department when they open on Monday. Ordered:
• “Fish Sticks” for my 4yr old.
• Shrimp burrito for my wife.
• 3-piece fish ‘n chips for myself.
With a tip cost $62.52
Pricy for what it was.

~ 5:20pm our food arrived.
My kid immediately didn’t want his meal and... See More only ate French fries and lemon wedges. His “fish sticks” were actually a small order of fish ‘n chips and he described them as “too wiggly” - they were soggy. I am grateful he actually didn’t eat it.
My wife liked her shrimp burrito until the last bite, which she said tasted weird and spit it out.
I was ok with my fish ‘n chips - even though it was indeed soggy - until I let it settle for a few minutes and it never actually settled. We left and after about 30 minutes I started to feel even more nauseous and vomited while shopping at a grocery store.
Went immediately home - another hour drive - and stopped about 4 times along the way so that I could vomit even more. By this time my entire body was aching, especially all of my joints, and my head was pounding.
I ran a fever up to 103.2°f.
Heavy chills, shaking, and sweating.
More vomiting.
Severe headache.
Even my testicles hurt.
Aching pain in hips, knees, ankles, elbows, wrists, jaw, neck.
My eyes hurt so bad.
I had to call out of work the next day and the day after that as well. 2 days lost of pay and the price of the meal down the toilet. The WORST case of food poisoning I have ever had.

Stayed at Xcaret for a wedding and on the 15th of October began to feel off. On the 16th we went out to dinner immediately getting up from the table. I felt nauseous when we got back to the room a couple hours later I began to... See More vomit with diarrhea at the same time. Luckily things calmed down because we flew out the next day on the 17th. Over the next couple of days I felt OK but my stomach just wasn’t right and then on Friday the 20th. I woke up with joint pain all over. I tried to ignore it and took some ibuprofen and went on with my day but then by around 1:30 in the afternoon I felt like I had been hit by a truck. I had a fever of over 101 and then by around 430. I had to go to the emergency room because I felt so sick. There is no definitive diagnosis only that I’d probably have a virus. since then I’ve just been alternating Tylenol and Advil if I don’t take it, my fever shoots right back up to over 101. I’m constantly nauseous, headache, can barely eat, a horrible taste in my mouth, dizzy, but I have no diarrhea. Actually I haven’t had a bowel movement in three days. Tuesday, last. Shamrock milk 12oz. 2% bottles in Banner del Webbs cafeteria fridge. The milk was congealed at the bottom of the milk bottles. Twice that day. First time, I ignored, random error. Second time I was curious. Broke it up and swigged, there were chunks in... See More it. Spit it back and threw it away. Not the first time the milk was bad there. First time, it was noticably soured. Spit it out, threw it away reported to cashier. This time the milk in the two bottles tasted fine to me, but the congealing was a red flag. I drank until the bottle produced no more liquid, but there was clearly weight at the bottom of the bottles, both times. I threw them both away. Went home to sleep the day off and the symptoms began that next day at work. 'Very uncomfortable.
