Goodbye! and best wishes in your recovery

You can get food poisoning from typical breakfast foods and pies. Nausea and diarrhea are the most commonly reported symptoms of Shari's food poisoning. Raw or undercooked eggs and desserts like chocolate mousse, meringue pie, and tiramisu are major sources of foodborne illnesses.

Both my husband and I shared plates (without eating anything else). We both started getting extreme stomach cramps, nausea, And vomiting. I had breakfast with eggs, hash browns and sausage. He had A bacon cheeseburger. We each had bites of each other’s food. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps See Less

My son started vomitting and having diarrhea several hours after wating at here. We all had the same thing except he had a salad and hashbrowns. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting See Less

Either omelette or milkshake By the time the check got to the table my boyfriend knew something was wrong, and I didn’t want to believe it was stomach cramps, because I knew that quickly it meant food poisoning. But the drive home I was in Immense pain... See More stomach cramps nausea, ran to the bathroom haven’t been able to leave the bathroom since I got home nausea chills, sweating, cramps, diarrhea. Dizzy. We have extreme heat wave In Washington right now, so with the quickness of the symptoms I think the food wasn’t refrigerated correctly. I’ve had this one other time, & it is identical situation. I also received dirty silverware with food on them, & the waiter agreed and said sorry these were wrapped last night it happens on accident. She was only waitress there. She forgot to give us our silverware & finally checked on us over ten mins after giving us our food, & by then our food was not very hot. But the food both orders got to us in under ten mins. It was weird, my eggs were runny. The hash browns and French toast I didn’t even touch because they both didn’t look right, the French toast looked like it was either pre made in bulk or taken from another plate, it was soaked like wet and soggy. With only one waitress running around by herself, I wouldn’t be shocked to see the, cut corners because my boyfriend got chicken fried steak how is that possible to cook in 8 mins? We both thought it was odd. How quickly our food came, I called them to try to be polite and maybe throw the food out, since I got sick s9 quickly, to save other ppl or just to be courteous & the manager answered, and was mad at me for calling to let her know, & told me I was incorrect & kept saying well what did you think you could accomplish by calling and letting us know? I was just trying to help other customers, you know? I figured maybe if she went to check on food items used since it was so soon, maybe just to be better safe then sorry just toss that package of eggs and grab a new one, or the milk used, I thought it was the nice thing to do, I was not angry in any way on the phone. I am not mad, this happened, I am more upset at the way she spoke to me, as if I was lying, wasting her time, & she couldn’t rush any quicker to get me off the phone, because my issue was no concern of hers. I just was hoping I could maybe help some how, or maybe just check to see if refrigerator is staying cool enough, we’re having 110 degree weather tomorrow 104 degrees today so it is more then possible that food got warm, she said last night they had to change food to other fridge due to heat and their food wasn’t staying cool enough & said we did that last night so I know your wrong…but that would mean their refrigerated and frozen foods got to warm, warm enough for employees to notice, & they had to transfer all foods to backup refrigerators she said. You would only do that if there was an emergency like the food wasn’t staying cool enough, that is probably why the dirty silverware accidentally got wrapped, instead of washed then wrapped In napkin for serving. I’m sure it was hectic transferring food last night, and that’s why the dirty silverware, & why there was only one waitress there this morning. But the manager went out of her way to make me feel uncomfortable and I. Even apologized for calling she made me feel so bad.

I got sick March 16 2021. I was hospitalized March 23 and I am at home with symptoms still., Ordered food through Doordash the night before flying back home. I had salmon, broccoli & loaded mashed potatoes. My husband had a 5 cheese grilled cheese. My husband... See More also got immediately sick but recovered in 2 days. My husband and I vomited violently within 2 hrs. This was followed by severe abdominal pain and non stop diarrhea. My husband's symptoms subsided within 2 days. Vomiting, abdominal pain and non stop diarrhea continued for me. I went to the hospital on 3/23/23. Was diagnosed with food poisoning that caused severe dehydration where I received 8 liters of iv in 2 1/2 days. I now have a swollen colon, colitis, inflammation all over and have to take multiple meds to help control my symptoms.
Stomach pains, non stop diarrhea. I passed out from exhaustion & did not have a opportunity to throw out my husbands grilled cheese. He responsed the same way. Fun flying home on an 8 hr flight like that.
The hospital sent me home to finish recovering. I am on multiple medications. Unable to eat anything other than 1/3 cup of bland food. I received 8 liters of iv that has retained in my right leg and hard to walk. I will be filing a law suit. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Dehydration, Stomach Pain

Had the Pumpkin Pancake special last night (9/30/2019) Unfortunately two hours after eating the pancakes, hash browns, two eggs and a tiny sirloin with coffee and cream. I became sick. Nausea, diarrhea and stomach pain -- trips to the bathroom all night. Not fun. All day today... See More I have been living on water and soda crackers. Will be a long time before I go there at this point.

Party of 3 last night around 10:30pm. 2 of us got sick. Food in common was pancakes, waffles, French toast, eggs. 4-5 hours later I woke up with fever, severe vomiting, awful stomach cramps. The other was very nauseous and had diarrhea around the same time. My... See More b/f and I both work in the industry, I am a caterer he is a cook at a different restaurant. Not once did I see any staff wash their hands, although I could only see part of the kitchen staff through the pass through window. There were two cooks on duty, a dishwasher, a server, and a FOH manager. I was told upon paying our bill that one of the cooks was brand new. Although I was not a "fly on the wall" in the kitchen, I could imagine this probably happened due to cross-contamination. Such as the cooks not washing their hands and changing their gloves after handling certain product. Our food took a very long time to arrive, which had my interest sparked to stare at the happenings at the pass. (Because honestly, after years of being in the field I have seen many careless actions that could result in food bourne illness and frankly I don't trust many people with my food... But it was late and we just got back from vacation.) Two orders before ours, I saw plates with burgers and breakfast items go out. Next was a large group's food, which mainly consisted of breakfast food like pancakes and eggs from what I could see. Amongst those things, being cooked was the salmon my boyfriend ordered, along with my brother and I's pancakes, waffles, French toast and eggs. Then I see our food up in the window, where I watched both FOH ladies gather our plates with their unwashed hands after running the two orders before ours. I made a joke to myself how we would have got the food quicker had the server stopped trying to juggle our plates by setting them down and picking them up several more times to get it just right so she wouldn't drop it. (Would have been faster for her to make two trips at the pace she was going).
SO, somewhere between them having a new cook on line and neither ladies washing their hands before putting 15 finger prints on each plate.... Cross-contamination happened. Someone, somewhere amongst the staff that night was being careless.
