I've had a long week and a hungry stomach So today I invited my cousins who also just got back to manila from the province to eat at this place. They just opened 2nd floor of Burgundy condo building at top of Yi fang Fruit tea. We … See More
were enjoying our dinner and Im devouring like crazy because I was so hungry and had only eaten breakfast until I noticed a weird taste in my mouth and I looked at the half bitten chicken only to find out its raw in the middle. I checked the remaining chicken tenders and to my surprise the rest were also raw. I checked the plates of my cousins also from the left chicken she couldn't finish and yes it was also raw. There were 8 chicken tenders in their promo. There were only 2 and a half left on the basket and yes we have unknowingly consumed 6 and a half of the 8 pcs. I immediately lost my appetite and called the manager to explain the situation. As of writing, my stomach is already complaining. The crew stated that they had cooked the raw chicken at a proper temperature and wasn't sure on what happened also and just said low temp and it was perfectly thawed and not frozen. The other kitchen crew who prepared the chicken said that it only happened to me. My question was how can they be so sure. Weirdly enough the bone in wings were cooked and just the tenders were the ones that are under cooked.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea

We arrived at Vikings at around 18:45 last July 28 and left at around 22:00. Everything was fine until my Dad had episodes of diarrhea morning of July 30. I gave my father one capsule of Imodium to stop his diarrhea after he finished his lunch. Then, … See More
I just finished my dinner that same day at around 20:30 when I suddenly felt a severe abdominal pain. I thought it was just Gastritis that I usually experience when I ate too fast just like what I did that night. I slept that night despite of my abdominal pain but I woke up at around 01:30 on July 31 because of severe abdominal cramps. I still thought that it was just Gastritis or indigestion. I took 1 tablet of Nexium then I forced myself to poop thrice hoping that it will relieve the pain. I was in so much pain for the next 4 hours that I was already feeling cold, nauseous and feverish. I called my Mom who was in the next room to hand me a glass of water and a hot pack that I can put over my tummy. I took 1 tablet of Buscopan because the pain is already unbearable. I also asked my Mom to massage my back because the pain is radiating to my back already. I somehow managed to sleep again when the pain was a bit lessened. I woke up after 2 hours at around 08:00 and the moment I sat on the bed I vomited right away. I felt relieved after that. I was just sleeping the whole day and I don’t have an appetite to eat because I’m still having abdominal cramps and I started to have loose bowel motion. I was already starving by dinner time so I forced myself to eat 3 pieces of crackers with 1 glass of ORS. At that time, I found out that my sister also started to have diarrhea that morning. It was then that we realized that we’re suffering from food poisoning and the only common food that only the 3 of us ate is the oysters from Vikings Buffet. When we looked up in the Google it says that food poisoning from oyster can occur 4-48 hours after consumption and it was the exact time when we started to have the symptoms. Since it also says that taking anti diarrheal and antacid drugs can make it worse, I stoppped taking any medicines. It’s now August 1. My Dad and sister are already getting better but I still have abdominal cramps and diarrhea so I’m already planning to visit the ER today.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps, Indigestion, Gas

Avocado, tomato, lime, Last night (technically 1 AM 4/19/24) I made a simple guacamole with two avocados, two roma tomatoes, and the juice of one lime. The produce was purchased from HEB on 4/15/24. All of the produce looked and smelled fresh and was washed (although likely … See More
not well enough) before making the guacamole. Within 3 hours of making and eating the guacamole I began having severe stomach cramps, nausea, and vomiting. I also felt as if I might have diarrhea but I couldn't (possibly due to previous two days of fasting with no food and no water). I am 100% certain it was from the guacamole as everything else that I had eaten earlier that day my children also ate and they did not get sick (they did not eat the guacamole).  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Cramps
