Multiple members of my family have all been experiencing severe nausea, vomiting diarrhea. Many of them have even tested positive for salmonella and e.coli. The hotel preaches about hygiene. Would not allow me to feed my infant daughter near the pool however nearly half their hotel was
infected due to their lack of hygiene. No one wore gloves when handling the food. It was truly disgraceful given how much money it costs to stay there!

Soooo many people sick at this resort right now. Bad stomach illness, vomiting, serve diarrhea, cramping, aches and more. Wife and I were here for a wedding and she got it along with at least 10 people in our party alone! Talked to other guests and everyone
knew someone affected.

Got to the hotel on Sunday June 19th, never left the property. By Thursday 23rd my husband had vomiting, nausea and explosive diarrhea. He is still very sick. Yesterday the 26th I started feeling nauseous and today I still feel nauseous with diarrhea.. Update my husband is
on his way to the hospital now. He can’t eat anything, and when he tries it comes right back up. Hasn’t stop going to the bathroom every 30 minutes. Update from the hospital my husband has salmonella poisoning.

My two children became very I’ll for 4 of our 7 days on our trip. Dozens of others were also sick. High fever, vomiting, diarreaha, body aches. A few people returned home and have tested positive for salmonella poisoning. I am now having constant stomach pain and
diarreaha. We are on our way home and we are so sad that our dream vacation was ruined. We took the two kids to the clinic at the hotel and paid 2k for IV and meds. I am hoping the hotel will do the right thing and reimburse us for at least part of tue trip. We were not able to do so many things and spent 3/4 in our room caring for sick family.

I know my daughter got sick shortly after eating there My daughter got sick several hours after eating at this restaurant at hotel on Saturday morning.That same morning my other daughter bit into her sausage and the middle wasn't cooked. That being said...she started having stomach cramping,
threw up once...we are on day 3 of diarrhea and now having bloody stools, loss of appetite. My son and Husband started having stomach cramps and diarrhea Sunday evening. Not sure which of the hotel restaurant they got sick from.

We visited for a beautiful wedding. Unfortunately 10+ people that I personally know fell ill during or after their trip. The first person had symptoms of nausea, diarrhea and vomiting. We did not see him for 2 days straight. He had lost a total of 10

pounds. Then my sister in law and myself were the next victims, first night we ate at Las Cuevas. Everything is buffet style, but they had employees walking around offering an assortment of meats. The second night we ate at Mercado, I had pineapple, grapefruit, some waffles and sausage. That night, we ordered room service before a boat trip, this was fettuccine Alfredo and a burger. During the boat is when I started to feel a little nauseous. I did not eat on the boat, as the food did not look edible. Next day I felt fine. Attended a cocktail hour and I can’t recall if I ate anything crazy that day. The day of the wedding I was woken up with horrible diarrhea. During the time, 4 other bridesmaids were sick as well. We pulled through and made it through the wedding. I had an accident after dinner... I’m 26, this is beyond uncalled for. I was so sick the following day. I had extreme diarrhea with no substance to it. It got so bad I went to the resort doctor. I was given 4 different medications, including antibiotics, anti nausea, anti diarrhea, and anti cramping. I also received a shot to the bottom to help with the nausea. I was on the antibiotics for 5 days and then 2 days for all the others. It helped with the diarrhea for the 2 days, and now I’m back at home and our stomach is hurting. We’ve been in contact, and it seems most people are getting sick after arriving from there trip, including a 10 month baby. We know it’s most likely the water since the baby has come down with it. And he didn’t have much food at all. His mother and the baby are making a trip to the ER as it’s now been a full WEEK of losing fluids. We’re all extremely dehydrated. The water there is NOT sealed nor is it properly filtered. It comes in glass bottles that are easily refillable and there is a bottle cap that screws on. The water isn’t safe and they claim to have a filtering system, but since the pandemic who knows how long it’s been since that’s been changed. Don’t stay there unless you want to fall very ill.

My partner and I stopped in for lunch. We had a warm chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger which we split both in half. Hours later, we were both sick with severe bloating, extreme vomiting, and diarrhea. It lasted 12+ hours. I am certain the food poisoning came
from here, because of the timing and because we both shared the same meal for lunch, both of us with the same reaction. We are both ultra fit men and this knocked us out completely. We were ready to call 911 to get us to a hospital. It was severe.

The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets has issued a warning to consumers in Schuyler County and surrounding areas against consuming raw milk from Sunset View Creamery LLC due to potential contamination with Campylobacter jejuni. The farm, located at 4970 County Road 14, Odessa, New
York, has been linked to one reported illness potentially associated with this product.
The contamination was discovered in an investigative sample of the milk collected by a Department inspector. The producer was notified of a preliminary positive test result on April 25, 2024, and further laboratory testing confirmed the presence of Campylobacter jejuni in the raw milk sample on April 29, 2024. The farm is now prohibited from selling raw milk until subsequent testing shows the product is free of the bacteria.
The Department also emphasized that raw milk does not provide the protection of pasteurization, a process that kills bacteria responsible for numerous illnesses and diseases. Pasteurization is recognized internationally as an effective means of preventing outbreaks of foodborne illnesses, including campylobacteriosis.
