We were seated around 7:45pm for my friend’s birthday dinner. We were served about a half hour later. I tried a stuffed mushroom, then I had a sweet potato and broccoli but they had over cooked my sirloin so I only ate a couple bites then sent it back. They made me a new one but it was undercooked for my liking, still I ate a bite or 2 of it then just took it to go. On the way home from the restaurant around 9:45pm, my stomach became extremely bloated and I started feeling bad indigestion so I took some digestive enzymes. Within a couple hours I was vomiting repeatedly. I have not thrown up in 23 years so it greatly traumatized me. I was up sick until 2am. I checked on my friend and she was horribly sick too. She had a medium rare steak but didn’t eat the mushroom. My husband had diarrhea late at night, but he only ate chicken strips with macaroni and cheese. The only conclusion we could come to was cross-contamination had taken place.
