My daughter has a confirmed cases of salmonella and spent 5 days severely unwell in hospital. The date of infection was Sunday 5th April. My 6 year old daughter had an original chicken sandwich and about 4 hours later was throwing up and having diarrhea in her sleep, also severe stomach pains.
