I bought from a location in reno a day ago and am currently very sick. I only ate half of it because it had a strange texture! My husband and I had the shrimp and grits on Monday 6/8, on Monday night my husband was violently sick then I followed about 12 hours later. His parents are also with us and got something different, and they are not sick. Therefore we believe this to be food poisoning. Husband and I had the chicken and brisket platter this past Friday that ultimately led to our GI poisoning. I had vomiting, bloating, headaches, diarrhea, and chills 12hrs later. During my visit, I observed staff handling food without changing gloves between tasks and not consistently wearing hair nets. After eating at the establishment, I experienced stomach pain, diarrhea, and nausea. These observations and symptoms raise concerns regarding food handling practices and overall sanitation.
