Juice Food Poisoning

Juice Food Poisoning

The FDA has received food poisoning reports that have been traced back to drinking fruit and vegetable juice that have not been treated to kill harmful bacteria. Store-bought juice is typically pasteurized, but that juice or from a juice bar can still become contaminated and cause food poisoning.

I wasn’t sure if it was the cheese. I ate it with my meal two nights ago. After about 3, 4 hours my mouth started feeling dry and I knew I had to vomit. This was around 1am I went to the bathroom literally 8 times that … See More
night and even started vomiting up bile due to nothing else being in my stomach. I continued to vomit 5,6 more times throughout the day while trying to consume water, Gatorade, ginger ale. The only thing that stayed down and was the last thing I tried to drink in an attempt to not make me nauseous and stop the vomiting, was apple juice. This was around 5pm. Today is the next day and I feel better. My throat still feels a little harsh from the constant needing to vomit and the diarrhea has not left yet but I haven’t vomited since after consuming the apple juice yesterday afternoon. Me and my friend ate the same exact meal, only she didn’t have the Kraft shredded cheese.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Bile
