Thursday November 8th I picked up dinner from Jasmin & Olivz on Hillsborough St. around 750 pm and drove home. My husband ate a Gyro with whatever normally comes on it and asked if we could eat there again the next night because it was so tasty. I ate a spicy falafel pita which was delicious We were so excited to find this restaurant because it was very tasty and affordable. We consumed the meal around 9pm. I fell asleep and woke up around 3 feeling incredibly nauseous and had intense stomach cramps sweating chills pale skin and had vertigo. I then vomited excessively. After an hour or so I crawled back into bed. Not long after climbing into bed I felt nauseous again. I then proceeded to vomit. I still had stomach pains and nausea. I felt so weak that I spent the rest of the night on the bathroom floor. Friday I slept periodically waking to vomiting even though I wasnt consuming solids and had only drank a small amount of Ginger ale. Eventually I took an anti-nausea suppository so that I could keep down fluids. By that point I was incredibly weak had a massive headache and sore throat to go along with the nausea and stomach discomfort. I then proceeded to sleep most of the afternoon and kept down some ginger ale. I reached out to the business and was informed that no manager was on duty. I informed the person on the phone about the suspected food poisoning. I also left a message on the Raleigh Branch of NC Dept of Health and Human Services. I then slept all night. Saturday was marked by fatigue and no appetite and I was able to consume 4 pieces of toast a banana and some liquids for the entire day.
