I had the paleo bowl on last Saturday eve, May 9th, 2020, picked it up at 7:20pm, it was left on a table marked with alphabetical letters since we have the covid virus going on. Took the food home, and I was sick the next morning. I
didn't feel well right after eating it, it was very spicy, so I figured that's what was bothering me.
I felt so sick, just like when I had food poisoning about twice in my life, but this time I didn't vomit. I wish I did at least it would've been out of me.
I had shortness of breath several times, throughout the whole week, I nearly passed out talking to my neighbor. I had fever and I've been taking cold and flu meds, since I thought I got the Corona somehow.
Weakness, my legs were going paralyzed, tingling in my body, my throat and chest had a red rash I also went to the bathroom 4 times that morning, way to go detoxing my bowels. And then when I left to go get groceries, I had the urgency to go again. This lasted 3 days. I couldn't fall asleep from being sick. I closed my eyes and I was dizzy and spinning. The headache wouldn't go away, the stomach burning and the nausea.
I wanted to call in sick sunday night, but i figured it will go away by monday. I pushed through working Monday all day, I was terribly sick. Stomach ache and burning, terrible nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and a killing headache. I called my doctor on Tuesday and ended up telling my boss I must call in for sick even though I've never done it in my life, I had to ask her for the protocol of calling in sick. When I called my doctor she said these are the symptoms of the corona virus, which freaked me out, and I was ordered to go to Care Now, to get tested for Covid 19. They wanted to collect $358 for this test. I nearly fell off the table. They gave me meds for nausea and stomach burning. My test for covid came back negative. It's Saturday night again, it's been a week and I still not feel well. I haven't worked since Tuesday. Is they going to pay my bills? That $10 stupid meal ruined my life. Had a burrito bowl with brown rice, fajita vegetables, black beans, tomato salsa, guacamole. This was around 1:30 p.m. yesterday. I started feeling ill about an hour afterwards and I started vomiting about 5 hours after. I had some diarrhea today in the morning.

I ordered a Vegan Nutty Super Grain on 4/9. After finishing the 40 ounces, a few hours later, I became deathly ill (throwing up/diarrhea at the same time). While I was drinking the smoothie, it didn't taste right - for example, the peanut butter didn't really taste
like peanuts. The throwing up lasted for over 24 hours, and also consisted of diarrhea. My wife ordered a smoothie from the same Smoothie king on on 4/5 (Vegan Mocha Cold Brew) - and only drank half of her 32 ounce smoothie - because it didn't taste right. She also threw up horribly for 12 hours, and then had a fever after. I will NOT be going back to this location, or any other smoothie king location. My wife and I called over TWICE - to the store and corporate, and they could care less. We're still waiting for the call back from Smoothie King (which won't happen, as they just say that). NOT trying to get anything out of this, except warning others they'll get sick if they order from this location. You messed up Smoothie king, I was spending $50 per week, which will now be $0.

Got Chick-fil-A for me and two other people the night of the April 15th 2024. I got a spicy chicken sandwich combo and became the most violently ill. My boyfriend got the chicken nuggets combo and also became ill just not as bad. The third person ate
some of the chicken nuggets as well and also became ill just not as bad as I did. I ended up in the emergency room on the morning of the 17th.

For a few weeks now I have been eating morning summit almond cereal. Usually after dinner. I’ve been noticing an increase of burping and gas and a feeling like water and food isn’t going all the way down to my stomach after eating and the rest of
the next day. Feeling really bloated and full to the point of uncomfortable. I started to take lactaid for the milk digestion. Thinking it’s the milk. The day before yesterday I got sick to my stomach and no food or liquid stayed down. Diarrhea and vomiting dehydration lead to leg cramps and fatigue. So I fasted for over 24 hours. Today I had one all meat meal. Plain burger patty and bratwurst. A few hours later I had a bowl of morning summit almond cereal and shortly after that I started feeling gassy and bloated again. Like food didn’t make it down to my belly and it’s stuck where my esophagus and stomach meet. Painful and feeling as if it’s making my tummy bloat more as the night goes on. I’m tossing and turning and burping and farting and diarrhea came back. WTH. I’m not blaming the yesterdays stomach sickness on the morning summit cereal but I am concerned that it’s having a negative effect on my digestion and causing the cramping bloating and gas in my stomach. I was concerned I had a really big problem but after reading other folks concerns after eating this cereal I’m convinced it’s the cereal as it’s the only new thing that I’ve added to my diet lately. I will report back after tomorrow and I fast again to release this pressure and hopefully gain my normal digestion back. I’d like to note: I’m 42yo 5’5” tall with 15% body fat. I weight 160lbs. Exercise regularly and I have no known allergies. My wife on the other hand ate some with me and she seems to be doing fine. Purchased at Costco, and this box I brand new.. Belgian Yummies of Fort Myers, FL, is alerting the public that its 4-ounce packages of Ice Cream Sandwiches and 5-liter containers and 4.75-liter pans of Gelato contains undeclared allergens. The recalled Ice Cream Sandwiches and Gelato were distributed in Florida through wholesale orders. None of the products
were available for retail sale. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
Recalled products:
- Belgian Yummies Sandwiches, flavors of Vanilla, Chocolate, Raspberry, Salted Caramel, Key Lime, and Peanut Butter, contain undeclared wheat, soy, egg, coconut, and/or peanuts.
- Sofra Sandwiches, flavors of Vanilla and Chocolate, contain undeclared wheat, soy, egg, and coconut.

Labels were immediately corrected, and ingredient lists were provided to all wholesale customers who received the affected products.
People who have allergies to wheat, soy, egg, coconut, and/or peanuts or have a sensitivity to FD&C Yellow #5 run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
