Everyone who had some reported some variety of symptoms within 12 hours after (cramping, diarrhea, chillds, nausea, etc).
Was not the store itself, but a frozen product it sells made by President's Choice (a food brand that I think may be affiliated with Loblaws, the franchise that owns Independent Foods).

The specific item in question was a frozen product called President's Choice Apple Crisp. It contains apples, oats, seasonings and other ingredients.

Toppings have to be kept at a consistently cold temperature and completely free of cross-contamination with other foods and sources, and must be rotated out regularly for fresh product to prevent things just like this. Bought a bag Blue White writing and gold detail. Picard's White Cheddar flavoured Crispy Potato Chip covered Peanuts. Monday afternoon while on a mini road trip, between Napanee ON. and Picton ON. This was the only thing I ate differently of 3 other people all that day. I ate the product that evening after supper about an hour or so after supper. Started out with really bad gas pain around 9 PM took 1 gas relief tablet and than a 2nd one 10 minutes later, moved onto Nausea, than to diarrhea, took 2 Pepto-Bismo tables and proceeded onto massive Vomiting. It got to the point my daughter called an Ambulance. I was afraid of becoming sicker and dehydrated. The Paramedics gave me a needle with Gravol(?) and gave me the option of going to the hospital or staying where I was. Great advice considering I didn't want to risk being exposed to Covid for obvious reason. I already contacted the company head office at Picard's that makes the blue packaged chip covered nuts and they thought it was unlikely but said he would look into it. Sent photos of the product Wednesday. Unfortunately it was disposed of in the garbage on Tuesday morning after I took photos. I needed contact info off of it. Basically it was the macaroni salad since I'm the only one in my family who ate it. I was the only one in four of is that got sick. I was the only one who ate the macaroni salad. The recalled product is branded as Onion Yellow Med 3 Outer Rings, packaged in a 5 LB vacuum sealed, clear plastic bag. The product bears a white paper label with the following information:
- Blake's (Richmond) Onion Yellow Med 3 Outer Rings 4-5 LB PO# 047981
- Lot#787806-6883R5, 795046-3948R1, 787806-6883R3, 795046-3948R2
- Use By Date of 04/03/2024.
A total of 23 cases have been recalled.

Clostridium botulinum is a bacterium that produces a potent neurotoxin. If you consume food contaminated with this bacterium, it can lead to botulism, a serious illness. have an incorrect ingredient label. The product was distributed nationwide and sold in specialty retail stores, grocery stores, and other retail outlets. The recalled products were distributed from 03/01/2024 to 03/29/2024. No other products from this company are affected.

Sea salt almond alligators contain almonds as an ingredient, which was not declared on the ingredient label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Retail products are packaged in candy boxes with a label on the bottom of the box containing nutrition and ingredient information. The code 0315 is found in a box at the bottom center of the ingredient label. The company has not been notified of any illness associated with this product.
