Tomatoes Food Poisoning

Tomatoes Food Poisoning

Fresh tomatoes could be the source of food poisoning. Tomatoes have been linked to 12 Salmonella outbreaks in the US. A Salmonella infection often occurs 12-72 hours after consumption, and is associated with stomach cramps and diarrhea.  Proper food handling practices, such as washing produce before consumption, are advised.

I am 100% certain it was from the guacamole as everything else that I had eaten earlier that day my children also ate and they did not get sick (they did not eat the guacamole).  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Cramps
