A few years ago I ate chipotle and the same day I had tummy ache but I thought it was the ice cream I had right after. Fast forward couple of days later I had it again and surely enough I had had diarrhea and I knew
it was chipotle because it was the only thing I ate. A couple days later I heard on the TV more people were complaining about the same thing… I have not had chipotle since. Today i only had a few $$ so I said okay I’m getting chipotle instinct told me no but I went anyway, guess what? I have been in toilet 5 times with diarrhea after eating a chicken bowl. I live in MD and went to the location in downtown Silver Spring… I WILL NEVER EAT CHIPOTLE AGAIN… I didn’t know if I wanted to throw up or poop all at the same time. Sight, I should have listened to my own instincts…

Purchased a carnitas burrito w/queso, white rice, pinto beans, sour cream, tomatillo chilli sauce and corn pico de Gallo. My partner also had a chicken burrito bowl with white rice, fajita vegetables, queso, fresh tomato salsa, corn pico de Gallo, and black beans and tomatillo chilli salsa.
Both of us became I’ll within less than a 12 hour period after consumption. Which occurred on 6/16. Symptoms include stomach pain, diarrhea, lethargy. Not resolved.

My friend and I got two chicken bowls yesterday. I did not finish because I noted that the rice was uncooked. Today we have been on the toilet all day from the food we ate. We've been pooping excessively and this particular location has a bad rep. So, I am not surprised at all.

Épicerie Basta Company, located at 505 Rue Rachel Est, Montreal, QC, Canada, has issued a recall for its broccoli and butternut squash and ginger soups due to potential contamination with Clostridium botulinum bacteria. The recall was announced in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food
(MAPAQ) and the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal. The products were sold until April 23, 2024, exclusively at the Épicerie Basta establishment. No cases of illness associated with the consumption of these products have been reported to MAPAQ to date.
The recalled products include
- Broccoli Soup (1 litre size)
- Butternut and Ginger Soup (1 litre size)
The soups were packaged in transparent plastic bags and sold refrigerated.
