I ate there for lunch and it was the only meal I had all day. I ordered the steak burrito, brown rice, black beans, queso cheese sauce, corn salsa, sour cream, lettuce, guacamole and shredded cheese.
About six hours later I began to feel "off". I got off my computer and sat down. Things went downhill fast.
I began to feel extremely nauseas, in fact, I had never been so ill in my entire life. It took a few hours before I began to actually throw up though.
While waiting to throw up, I tried to induce vomiting manually because I was just wanting to throw up and feel better but it didn't work. I would gag, but nothing would come up.
I just sat there feeling the worst id ever felt in my entire life.
Eventually I started to heave naturally, but still not vomit. It was violent and my entire body clenched but vomit would not come out. It was miserable and above all, scary. While I was "heaving" I couldn't breathe and each time it felt like it would never end, my body was clenching and wouldn't stop .. Sweat was dripping off of my forehead and nose after each " episode". At this point I began to think something was seriously wrong...i knew this wasn't normal.
Not long after I began to actually vomit, it was especially harsh and instead of feeling relief after vomiting I felt worse.
I was vomiting so much I decided to sit outside in the cold. Puking into a toilet and having water splash wasn't helping.
I wrapped myself in a blanket, grabbed a towel and sat outside.
My stomach began to hurt.. It felt like pressure was building inside my gut. Then it felt like my gut was full of sharp rocks, so full it was about to tear wide open. It felt like these sharp rocks were constantly moving around and stabbing my insides. Tears were streaming down my face. I wasn't "crying", my eyes were watering from pain on their own.
The pain began to make me throw up in addition to the insane nausea.
Then I felt like I had to get to a toilet, to sit on if you catch my drift. It was a false alarm, but I sat there anyway on the toilet with a trash can in front of me. At this point I had almost no energy to move. I felt pitiful. I wanted it all to end.
I began to pass gas... It was atrocious. It was unbearable. I will never forgive them, I'm not trying to be funny and this is no joke. It smelled so bad it hurt my nose and instantly threw me back into a vomiting fit.
I was in so much pain. I was throwing up, I had burning diareah, the smell was thick and oily and wouldn't leave my nose. It felt like I was being stabbed in my stomach.
I will never forget that smell. It smelled like my insides were dead and rotting. Beyond that. Whatever you're thinking, multiply it by 5.
I was ready to put a pistol in my mouth to make it all end so I woke my girlfriend up to take me to the hospital. I rallied the strength to crawl into the hero and I shook her leg from the floor. She looked at me and I didn't have to say a word, she saw my face and jumped out of bed.
I looked like death. She said I had no color in my face and it looked like I had two black eyes. She drove me to the er and I was borderline delirious. I don't remember parts of the ride or being at the hospital.
The Dr said I was the same color as the bed sheets (pale white) and my hair was damp with sweat. he thought I was having an appendicitis or kidney stones.
They gave my a drink to numb my stomach which helped a little. They put me on fluids and anti nuasea meds. I took in three bags of fluids.
The Dr did an EKG, took blood and wanted me to stay the night to monitor me.
After 24 hours I finally felt better, but it took 48 hours before I could finally write this. That's how bad it was.
I will never forget that experience as long as I live. I will never forgive them as long as I live.
The doctor that night told me others had been ill from there recently too.
I've seen them on the news from time to time for getting people sick.
Two of the five nurses I saw that night said they'd been ill from there too.
My doctor and nurses mentioned other people got sick recently from there as well.
I am going to investigate a little more and find out what's going on. This is unacceptable. If an elderly person or youngster got as sick as I did I fear they wouldnt survive. I'm a 28 year old male who is perfectly healthy and athletic. I have a high pain threshold and never go to the hospital, especially for food sickness. This was different. I was afraid. I was choking on my own stomach reflexes. I was in pain and discomfort from every level. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Other, Sweating, Stomach Pain, Gas
