See More in 10-15 mins after my son & I ate the food we got immediate stomach cramps followed by diarrhea, I myself was nauseous for the rest of night, diarrhea subsided after a couple of hours for me, my son had more the stomach cramps & diarrhea. We eat at Chipotle all the time & never got sick. We are going to continue to eat there. I will say this the prep counter was gross the foods were cross contaminating by the way they were preparing it. When one of the employees was preparing food for customer in front of us he accidentally got extra food on the outside container of the guac dish it fell onto counter he then pushed it back into there serving bowl of guacamole, then another employee got sour cream into another side. That's why we only chose the corn & salsa. I realize it gets busy but way too much food cross contamination. I bought Ben & Jerry's Non-Dairy Cherry Garcia and Non-Dairy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough from my local Walmart on November 11, 2023, I decided to eat about a cup of it that evening for dessert. November 14, 2023 Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Complaint On November 11,... See More 2023 I ate the Ben & Jerry's dairy free Cherry Garcia and literally 5 minutes after I ate it, it gave me severe diarrhea, stomach cramps and nausea. I also googled if anyone else has had issues and a lot of people have. I contacted Ben & Jerry’s via their website and made my complaints. I'm still sick after 3 days later. I still have diarrhea, nausea and upset stomach with a decreased appetite. I believe that Ben & Jerry’s ice cream took out my good bacteria and replaced it with bad bacteria. I have an appointment with my primary care physician and I’ve been taking a probiotic and prebiotic and I’m still currently on a bland diet to help my stomach and colon get back to normal. I have reported my symptoms to the FDA for investigation and to make other consumers aware of the toxic and poisoning that Ben & Jerry’s put in their ice creams. I feel there should be a class action lawsuit against this company. I believe it to be the combo of Locust Bean Gum and Carrageenan they both can cause severe stomach and colon issues. Carrageenan & Locust Bean Gum added ingredients can give people upset stomach, diarrhea & colon issues. These two ingredients being combined in your ice creams can cause internal damage to humans.  Carrageenan alone in some products can do this to people, but less likely severe. It's more severe when combined with another ingredient like Locust Bean Gum it increases the chances for stomach pain, upset, and diarrhea. I'm still a little sick, and I've been on a bland diet since it happened. My appetite has decreased, but I'm much better than I was.  Unfortunately, I didn't get the bottom of the chocolate chip cookie dough. I forgot, and I did get the bottom of the cherry garcia. My local store doesn't take back food returns. I threw them both in the trash. See More with Salmonella. Caribou Coffee Fruit Mix CHPG 6.5oz was distributed from Caribou Stores at the MSP Airport Caribou locations in the MSP Airport, Minnesota. The product comes in a clear plastic package, the USE BY DATE was 11/4/23. The remainder of the recalled "Fresh Cut Fruit Mix containing Cantaloupes" under Cut Fruit Express and food service packaging was distributed through in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois via retail and food service delivery, the USE BY DATES were 11/4/23, 11/5/23 and 11/6/23. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem with our products.

Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis, and arthritis.

The retail product comes in with Use by Date 11/4/23, 11/5/23, 11/6/23 on the top label and food service product comes with a date label of 11/3/23 on the bag, tray or a label with use by date on the pail.

Cut Fruit Express learned that their supplier is issuing a recall on Cantaloupes for potential contamination of Salmonella. Cut Fruit Express is initiating a recall on the affected product that contains the recalled Cantaloupe. The affected products were shipped between October 24th through October 26th, 2023.

- Consumers, restaurants, retailers, and wholesalers should not eat, sell, or serve recalled cantaloupe or recalled products containing cantaloupe.
- Some consumers freeze cantaloupe for later use. Consumers should check their freezers and throw away recalled fresh or cut cantaloupe that was frozen for later use.
- If you cannot tell if your cantaloupe is part of the recall, do not eat or use it.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
