Pork Food Poisoning

You can get food poisoning from eating pork. A common infection associated with pork is Trichinosis. It can occur from eating undercooked pork that has been infested with larvae from a parasite called trichinella spiralis. Improper handling of pork and hygiene issues can also cause food poisoning.

Observed about 5 lbs of cooked chicken at 52f, about 5 lbs of cooked hamburgers at 98f, and about 5 lbs of cooked pork at 64f. Instructed to discard and denature said tcs foods and maintain all hot-holding tcs foods at 135f or above at all times. The manager discarded said tcs foods during the inspection. Priority violation. Citation issued 7-38-005.

- comments: 3-302. 12 observed dry storage containers without labels. Instructed to label all dry storage containers properly.

ones who ate the pork. This was the sickest I’ve ever been. We all were nauseous, vomiting, diarrhea, fevers, body aches, and headache's for DAYS. I called today to inform them about it and I asked to speak to a manager. A lady got on the phone and I said that I got a Boston butt Saturday night, and she said oh god, hold on a minute, and put me on hold. When she got back on the phone she asked if she could take a message. I said no, I need to speak to a manager, is that not you? She said no. I told her about all of us getting extremely ill and she said “there were 7 of you”? I said yes, so I need to speak to the manager. She took my number but I have yet to receive a call back.
